Weekend's gone, so is the deck

well, the deck is outta here. Many thanks to Dave and Ed, trusty grunts that enjoy demolition. Overall everything went as planned. The only rather frightening moment was when it came time to remove the posts from the old half of the deck. This is the half that I DIDN'T build, the one that came with the house. Once the structure was down, I laid a hand on the first post, to find that it tipped over with as much ease as tipping an empty beer bottle over. And that was what was holding up the deck. Yikes.
